Works commenced in December 2019 and is expected to be finalised in October 2020.
This is an escape of liquids claim which caused major structural damage to a section of the original building.
The original building is a heritage listed property which meant all external items such as stone, bricks, including windows must be carefully numbered, and salvaged for re-use.
- Prior to demolition, underpinning was performed to stabilise the walls which were to remain;
- Once demolition was completed, piles were poured, followed by new footings;
- Structural steel framing was installed once footings were cured; and
- Blockwork has now commenced.
